Ways To Earn Extra Cash

                                                     WAYS TO MAKE EXTRA MONEY!

In today's world it is every hard to make money and to save money. I know first hand how much unemployment sucks! I was out of a job for 5 months while I was looking for another nanny job. On top of being unemployed I had no money saved up! When I was working I never got a chance to save up any money because as soon as I got my pay in my hands it went straight to bills and buying food. So many times I have found myself needing a little extra cash. I wanted to share with you a few ways I have found to earn some extra cash.

Blogging is a great way to make extra cash. If you love to write and enjoy hard work blogging is great for you. I love to blog! It isn't something where you make a ton of money over night. A lot of work goes into it. You need to blog at least every other day and have well put together blogs. You can't through something together and expect people to follow you. You need to know who you are writing for. You get paid through adsense which is partnered with Google. You get paid so much for the views you get on your blog or website. You have to work to get your blog out their and noticed. You have to work to earn a following. A few blog sites I use are blogger and webpress. Both very easy and user friendly. I have three blogs that I post on everyday relationshipvs.blogspot.com beautifulonabudget1.blogspot.com and wizzyhellmann.blogspot.com!

Online surveys are a great way to earn some extra money or gift cards. There are plenty of website for online surveys. You fill out surveys and you get survey points. Survey points add up to cash. Then some surveys you get gift cards. This is great for stay at home moms or those who are in between jobs. Another great way to earn some extra cash is ebates.com. If you don't know about ebates you are missing out! With ebates you get paid to shop! A few websites I use are Surveys.com, surveymonkey.com, zoho.com, and ebates.com.

Thrift shops and consignment shops are a great way to clean out your closet and make some extra cash. If you are wanting to get rid of some clothes and they are in pretty good condition take them to your local consignment shop. If the clothes are in good condition they will take them and give you cash for them! How awesome is that! I do this every season! If there are items that I will no longer need or wear I take them over and get some spending money! It is great if you have kids and you don't plan on having any more. You can take their baby clothes and toys and get cash back for them. Remember this tip the next time you do your spring cleaning! You may have a ton of cash hanging in your closest!

Yard sales and Flea markets are another great way to clean up and make so extra cash! Your trash can be someone else treasure. In the past I have made back doing yard sales. I have sold old video tape, clothes, furniture, games, and appliances. Great to do in the spring and on the weekends during the summer.

Smelling Good Guy Edition!

                                                   SMELLING GOOD: GUY EDITION

Did you know that smell is connected to memory?! For example if your grandma wore white diamonds by Elizabeth Taylor then every time you smell that fragrance you will think of her or a special memory of her.  So when guys smell good we tend to remember them more! To be honest I never really like cologne. I grew up in a house with three men my two uncles and my grandfather. They always wore really heavy cologne that gave me a headache. Then I got older and I met my Charlie ( my hubby )! One of the first things I loved about him was the way he smelled! I remember when we first started dating he wore axe chocolate body spray. God I love that smell! Now every time I smell Chocolate by axe I flash back to our first date! That was the first cologne I really liked and it still means so much to me when I smell it. I even get butterflies! As he got older and became a man his scent matured. Now he uses Old Spice. I didn't think I would like it because when my grandfather used it it was so strong! I was pleasantly surprised! I love it! Now they have many different types of old spice that are overwhelming. Old spice is defiantly for the more mature fellas and Axe is more for the younger guys! I started thinking and I realized as we mature so does our scents and out presentation. I love that Charlie takes pride in his appearance. There is nothing more attractive them a man who takes care of himself! When we look good and smell good then we feel good about our selves!

Mini Christmas Makeup Haul

                                                         MINI MAKEUP HAUL!

Thanks to my amazing mother in law I got to go on a mini makeup spree and of course I wanted to share it with my loves! I got a  ton of clothes for Christmas so I decided I needed more makeup or accessories. I went to ultra but to be honest everything was so high priced. I love ultra but now that I am on my own and paying for my own things I decided to headed over to 5 below next door. I was pleasantly surprised with their makeup department! They had great high end makeup, great smelling lotions, perfumes, and bubble baths. makeup brushes, beautiful color nail polish, and adorable accessories. They had a lot of good quality makeup to choose from. I picked up three 10 eye shadow palettes (Drama and two smoky), a natural eye shadow mini palette, two lip balms ( red and baby pink), a zebra storage box for all my makeup, and a palette of glitter eye shadow. I got all of this for only $25! At ultra I would have only gotten one item for that much money! I got so much great stuff and I still have some money left over. I can't to try these out and tell you loves all about it! It you are on a budget but are looking to pick up some nice high end makeup try out 5 below! Trust me you will be pleasantly surprised.

Big Is Beautiful

                                    BIG IS BEAUTIFUL

Thin is no longer in! It should have never been in in the first place. More and more women are loving their God given bodies and embracing their curves! The great beauty is the natural healthy beauty. If god wanted us to look like a hungry stick thin model he would have made us all that way. He didn't! He made us all different and special in our own way! I want to talk about rocking the body you are given and feeling confident in your own skin.

                        MY STORY

When I was younger I was super small! I was short and skinny. Then came puberty. I started to fill out everywhere. Sadly in today's society it isn't called filling out its called fat and curves are a bad thing! I went from cute little Lizzie to the fat girl. I hated my body for a really long time and had tons of insecurities. I would wear bagging clothes and would hide my beauty. I became really depressed because I felt like I was an ugly duckling. Turns out I just need the right person to bring out my confidence and beauty. My hubby was the first guy to every call me beautiful and still says it every single day. It really took me sometime to get use to hearing the words beautiful and me in the same sentence. My hubby is a really gorgeous and wonderful man! I'm not just saying that ether. He has the bluest eyes I have ever seen and an amazing body! He is beautiful inside and out. So I had no idea why someone so good looking was attracted to someone like me.  Chubby Lizzie. He has always said how stunning I am and how he loves my body but I never could see what he saw. I had a lot of problems through my relationship with my weight. At one point I was so obsessed with being the "perfect" weight that I started to starve my self. I wasn't being healthy. One day my hubby sat me down and said that he didn't care what the scale said, he would love me no what my weight, and he just wanted me to be healthy. That clicked a switch for me and started me on my road of finding my beauty. I decided on my perfect healthy weight at 150. I'm still working toward my goal weight but I love my body! I am sexy and confident in my skin! I AM BEAUTIFUL! I want you all the feel the same way and embrace your curves!

Confidence! Girl you got it going on! Take ownership of your body. Know what you got and work what your mama gave you! No fears! Walk around the house or your room naked. Look at your self naked in the mirror for a few minutes everyday. Dance around your room naked. Everyday look into the mirror and say only positive thing to your self like " I got a nice booty!" or "Wow! My body is beautiful". It will take some time but build up your confidence everyday. If you are sexually active don't be ashamed or insecure about your body. Work it out! Men don't wanna bang a bag of bones! They want something they can hold on too! Show them what you got! Big girls LOVE BIG! Big girls are also the most fun to cuddle with! If you are confident and love your body your man will too!

Big is beautiful! I mean have you really taken a look at models they don't look that beautiful. They look more hungry and unhappy then beautiful to me. Instead of looking in the magazines Google Marilyn Monroe, Rita Hayworth, or pin-up girl art. Those are real women with real bodies. Those are beautiful, confident, and sexy women.  Idolize these women not the ones who wear clothes down a run way that lets be honest wouldn't fit anyone in real life. My advice is if you look good and smell good then you feel good. Just because you are a thick female doesn't mean you have to walk around in sweats and a over sized hoodie with your hair a mess. Fix your self up and wear clothes that will extenuate your beautiful curvy body. When you look good you will feel good about yourself. Don't hide from your body show it off to the world! Show the world I'm thick and I am proud! Beauty comes from the inside out. If you feel beautiful on the inside then it will show on the outside.

When it comes to the people around you have people who will support you and bring out the best in you! If you have a friend or partner who is constantly bringing up your weight and bring you down then they don't really love you for who you are and you don't need people like that around in your life. Surround yourself with positive, supportive, and happy people. If your around down people they will just bring you down. You can be friends with people of all shape and sizes as long as they want what is best for you. You need people around you that will pick up and tell you that you are beautiful. Don't change for anyone! Be you! If people don't like the way you are show them the door!

Now I am not saying to be unhealthy. I am saying you can love your body, have curves, and still be healthy. You can have McDonald but don't eat it every night. You still need to keep your body healthy and happy. You can still eat what you love to eat but do it in moderation. Portion control is very important. If you are at an unhealthy weight get healthy the right way. Don't starve yourself or throw up what you eat. I have been through all of that! It isn't fun and it isn't good for your temple that God gave you. You also don't need to take tons of diet pills. You just have to remember everything is good in moderation like for me I love soda so I cut down my soda intact to once a week. I have lost a 100 pounds just cutting back on soda. Also it doesn't hurt to work out but don't do it to lose weight do it to make you healthier! Do cardio to build up your lungs and heart strength. Do strength work outs for your muscles. Be healthy and stay beautiful!

Christmas Haul

                                                 CHRISTMAS 2013 PRESENT HAUL!

This past year I have been doing a lot of self improvement inside and out.  Scene I have met the love of my life I have been trying to be the best and healthiest I can be. My health hasn't been the best in the past. Now that I met my hubby I want to be around to grow old with him. I started by going to the gym a few times a week with him and cut a few things like soda and sweets out of my diet. My starting weight was 175 now I am down to 160! Now I don't want to be a stick figure! I just want to be healthy. So me and my hubby set my goal wait at 150. You are probably thinking... what does this have to do with a Christmas haul? Well because I have loss so much weight nothing in my closet really fit me like I would like. So my hubby and family bought me a whole new wardrobe.  I love everything I got and I wanted to share my new wardrobe with my loves! If ya'll like what I got you can visit rue 21 and debs. They are both two of my favorite stores and all my gifts came from there. They have fabulous clothes at fabulous prices! They are always having steals. My family didn't want to tell me but I wanted to know how much everything came too for this blog. All you see here is $200! If you think about it it isn't that bad for a whole new wardrobe. I had an amazing Christmas surrounded by amazing people who I love so much! I want to know how ya'll Christmas was! Let me know in the comments! Thanks to my loved ones I can feel and look like a million bucks!

My Hair Story

                                    MY HAIR STORY

We have all been there. We have all been through bad hair styles and bad dye jobs! A lot of the time we look at a picture and it looks amazing....amazing on someone else! Deep down we know it is a bad idea but we go for it anyway. Most of the time with pick hairstyles or colors to be different from everyone else. Here is my hair story and what I have learned from it. Enjoy!

So I was a catholic schoolgirl. That's where my struggle started! I always wanted to dye my hair different colors like pink and purple! My school was very strict. NO MAKE UP! NO WEIRD HAIRSTYLES! NO DYED HAIR! Ugh I hated it!  I remember i got my first set of high light in 8th grade...the school made me take them out the next week. So finally I graduated! Suddenly I had all the freedom! I went a little crazy with the freedom. I started dyeing my hair right away! It became addictive and expensive! It was digging such a phone in my pocket that I decided to dye my own hair.

I wanted to be smart about dying my hair on my own. So I did my research. I googled and youtubed till I decided to try henna hair dye.  Henna hair dye is great for dying your hair at home! It no more them $10. It is a whole like healthier for your hair.It is 100% chemical free. It is an all natural way to add vibrant color, shine, and body to any hair type. I bought my henna hair dye from amazon. I really loved it but I was so messy! No matter how much I tried it got all over me and the bathroom. The only thing I didn't like is how has the color faded. I was was red all fall but I wanted something different!

When spring came rolling around I wanted to try something new! I wanted to go blonde! Of course instead of having a professional do it I did it on my own! BAD IDEA WIZZY! I have really dark hair so I got this hair dye from China on amazon. The dye was suppose to be made to take black hair to light blonde. I wanted barbie platinum blonde. What I got was ORANGE! I really like it at first....till my hubby walked in from work and said my hair look orange. Orange hair really doesn't go good with dark tan skinned Italian girls. Never again will I go blonde....or orange!

I was so done with the blonde! So one the first day of summer I bought l'oreal deep cherry brown hair dye from rite-aid. It came out almost black dark brown with hits of red. It stayed that way for about two months then it started to turn a ginger red. It went from almost black to light red. I didn't mind. I really liked both colors so it was like a two for one deal!

I love colorful hair! I did pink a couple of years ago but i really wanted to try purple because I am from Baltimore which means I am a huge Ravens fan! I really miss my purple hair! I was by Splat hair color. It was so pretty and had a lot of different shades of purple.

One night when me and the hubby where out on a date he told me that I didn't have to dye my hair a million colors to be beautiful. He told me that I am beautiful and sexy just being my natural self. After our convo at dinner I decided to go back to the color I was born with. In late August I dyed my hair natural black the closest color to my natural hair color. I haven't died it scene. I never had to redye it the color match perfectly to my root. My black hair just look more natural and healthy.

Here is my advice ladies! Take care of your hair! It is ok not to put out a ton of cash. You can get beautiful and healthy hair from the drugstore hair dyes. But don't do what I did and dye your hair every month or so! That will just end up giving you gray hair and damage! Make sure to use hot oils and hair masks for a healthy hair shine. Think before you dye! Think first will this effect me in anyway. Will the hold me back from finding a good job? Do your research! Youtube and google reviews! Find out the safest and best products for you. If you wanna go from dark to blonde the best thing you can do it go to a professional. Bleach can be tricking and a pain in the bum. Remember you don't have spend a million to look and feel like a million!
